Job Description

The Office Assistant will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the administrative staff at Betini Health Post and the Village Executive Office. The individual in this role will undertake a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support the smooth functioning of the health post and contribute to overall office efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize official records, files, and documents ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Handle correspondence including drafting and dispatching routine letters, notices, and memos.
  • Assist in the management of office supplies, requisitions, and logistics.
  • Facilitate communication between different levels of municipal offices and the public, acting as the first point of contact when required.
  • Manage data entry and keep databases updated with precision.
  • Support finance processes such as receipt management and petty cash handling under supervision.
  • Prepare reports and assist with the organization of meetings and events.
  • Ensure proper handling and archiving of confidential information.
  • Perform any other clerical/administrative duties as directed by the office authorities.

Minimum Qualifications and Conditions
