1. Available Positions and Qualification Requirements
Kshireshwarnath Municipality is currently seeking to fill the following posts:

Position Title: Civil Engineer
Service Level: 6th Level (Officer Level)
Number of Vacancies: 2 (Two)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Academic: Must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. or equivalent) from a recognized institution. The qualification must be recognized by the Government of Nepal.
- Professional Registration: The applicant must be registered with the Nepal Engineering Council (NEC) and must provide a valid NEC registration number.
- Age Limit: Must be between 21 to 35 years for male candidates and 21 to 40 years for female candidates as of the last application date.

Position Title: Sub-Engineer (Civil)
Service Level: 5th Level (Assistant Level)
Number of Vacancies: 1 (One)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Academic: Must have completed a Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized educational institution approved by the Government of Nepal.
- Age Limit: Must be between 18 to 35 years for male candidates and 18 to 40 years for female candidates as of the last application date.
2. Application Process
A. Application Submission Details
- Application Deadline: All applications must be submitted no later than 2082/02/15, within regular office hours.

B. Application Fee:
The application fee should be paid at the municipal office upon submission of the application form. The fee details are as follows:
- 6th Level (Engineer): NPR 1,000
- 5th Level (Sub-Engineer): NPR 500
Note: Proof of payment must be attached with the application form.
3. Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents along with their application:
- Completed Application Form
- The standard form is available at the Kshireshwarnath Municipality Office.
- Photocopy of Academic Certificates
- Includes transcripts and character certificates.
- Nepal Engineering Council Registration Certificate
- Mandatory for Engineer applicants (6th Level).
- Citizenship Certificate
- A valid copy issued by the Government of Nepal.
- Experience Certificates(if any)
- Relevant work experience certificates from recognized organizations.
- Recent Passport Size Photographs

- Self-Attestation:

4. Selection Procedure
All applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will be required to undergo a transparent and competitive selection process. The recruitment will include the following steps:
A. Written Examination
- The written exam will assess candidates’ technical knowledge, understanding of engineering practices, and general knowledge relevant to public service and local governance.
B. Practical Test (If Applicable)
- Depending on the number of applicants and the nature of the post, a practical examination may be conducted to evaluate hands-on skills, software knowledge (e.g., AutoCAD, estimation, etc.), and on-site problem-solving ability.
C. Interview
- Shortlisted candidates from the written and practical tests will be invited for a final interview.
- The interview panel will assess the applicant’s subject knowledge, communication skills, attitude, and ability to contribute effectively within a municipal working environment.
Exam Date:
- The date, time, and venue of the written and practical exams will be published later via a public notice at the municipal office and/or official channels.
5. Salary and Contract Terms
Salary Scale:
- The remuneration will be provided as per municipality regulations and in accordance with prevailing government standards for contract-based positions.
Contract Duration:
- The appointment will be on a contractual basis, and the duration of the contract will be specified at the time of appointment.
- Contract extensions may be considered based on performance, project requirements, and available funding.
6. General Terms and Conditions
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the written exam, interview, and other subsequent steps.
- All rights related to selection, rejection, or amendment of the notice are reserved with Kshireshwarnath Municipality.
- False information or forgery of any document will lead to immediate cancellation of the application and may result in legal action.
- The municipality reserves the right to cancel or modify the recruitment process at any stage without prior notice.

- All decisions made by the recruitment committee will be final and binding.
